Bumble Bizz Launch Party 🐝 🎉

Okay so I know you’ve all probably heard of the app ‘Bumble‘ well now… they’re in business! Bumble put the power in women’s hands (literally) with the opportunity to swipe right on potential connections, and they’ve now expanded that concept into networking with your next potential business partner. The next step in your professional career could be just a swipe away, how crazy is that? Well, I was recently invited to the launch party of Bumble Bizz on the Moshulu in Philadelphia and I wanted to share my adventure with you guys.

First of all this launch party was awesome! I felt so lucky to be in the same room as so many amazing, powerful, influential, and inspiring women. I actually met Courtney, who organized this event, through instagram <-- a prime example of the power of social media and networking. We exchanged emails and she sent me a formal invitation to the event last Thursday. It was such a perfect night in the city! The event was held on the Deck of the Moshulu, which in case you haven’t been here: the Moshulu is a ship that is docked at the waterfront of Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia and operates as a restaurant. The Deck serves as their beautiful outdoor bar. The vibes this place gives off, especially when it’s filled with lady bosses who are absolutely killing the game, is everything 🙌🏽. The energy from the entire night was filled with so much positivity and the aesthetics of the Moshulu along with views of the city tied it all together.

I love seeing women support and encourage other women. I think it’s also really important for people in general to celebrate one another’s successes. Unfortunately, I don’t think it happens quite enough in today’s society, but it was refreshing to see it happen at the Bumble Bizz Launch Party. The event hosted lady boss speakers from Lily Pulizer, the Philadelphia 76ers, and SAP. The speakers gave wonderful advice about networking, starting your career, and pursuing your passions. The rest of the night was left to network with other guests and social influencers in Philly. We were served hors d’oeuvres and champagne also upon arrival and uh who doesn’t love a cute champagne glass and great finger foods? The Deck at the Moshulu had cute fire pit setups complete with Bumble pillows and couches perfect for a cool crisp fall night. On top of all that, Bumble gave out swag bags with some adorable items which included, a bumble tote, pen, notebook, sunglasses, sticker, mug that said “empowered”, empower-mints, and a pop socket (because those things save lives in case you didn’t know). That being said, the Bumble Launch Party on the Moshulu was a huge success in Philadelphia and I was glad to be a part of it. If you haven’t already: go download the app, get swiping, grow your network, and be a boss. You never know where the next connection may take you!

Stay tuned for more adventures…
xoxo Mimi
