I wanted to let you all know of a special event in Philly taking place on Friday, December 7th from 6pm-8pm! Moxie Blue Salon in Old City is celebrating their one year anniversary by throwing a birthday/holiday party. How fun right?! They are offering some major discounts in the salon for services from now until the end of December. Named “Best of Philly” 2018: New City Salon, Moxie Blue is making waves in the hair and beauty industry.
Founded by Danny and Licha McLennan, Moxie Blue originated in Marlton, New Jersey in 2008 and has expanded into the Greater Philadelphia Area. Their Old City location in Philadelphia is conveniently located at 205 Race Street. This particular location has 15 salon chairs, two luxury express spa rooms, a hair extension bar, and extensive retail products from Goldwell, KMS, Davines, and Oribe. Guest at Moxie Blue Salon Old City are greeted with complimentary snacks, champagne, wine, or beer as well as a complimentary Make-Up Touch Up with every service… HOW AMAZING IS THAT?!
At their One Year Birthday Party and Open House they are pulling out all the stops. It’s going to be a great event open to friends and neighbors in the area. The night will serve as a celebration and will allow guests to meet the talented Moxie Blue team. Moxie Blue will also offer complimentary hair braiding at their Braid Bar, as well as temporary hair coloring at the KMS Color Spray Station. I LOVE BRAIDING STATIONS. Fun fact: I once tried different braids in my hair for a whole summer, so if you’re looking for me at this event I’ll most likely be in line for this! Moxie Blue Salon will be partnering with their “Best of Philly” neighbors, Bridge On Race, Tuna Bar and United By Blue, for a “Best Of” holiday crawl. Explore these four award-winning businesses as they all celebrate their one year anniversary. There will be light bites, refreshments, and live DJ entertainment as well. They will even have some fun prizes throughout the night! Best of all you can shop the products featured in their new Holiday Store!
