Bumble x Her Conference Kickoff Party at Rosé Mansion 🐝🍷

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the AMAZING, fun-filled Her Conference. Bumble was kind enough to sponsor my trip to NYC for the Her Conference and it was like every NYC fantasy I had as a kid. I had wanted to go to the Her Conference in the past and I’m so glad I was finally able to make it this year. Hands down one of the most inspiring weekends of my life! Before we get to the main event though, Bumble in cooperation with Her Campus Media hosted an awesome kickoff party at the newly unveiled Rosé Mansion. The Rosé Mansion is located on Fifth Avenue in Midtown and boasts a whopping 14 rooms across two-stories to bring the most instagramable place I have ever seen. It’s no surprise as to why millennials from all over are flocking to take pictures at this pop-up venue.

Elevating the meaning of “Rosé all Day” the Rosé Mansion’s creators were sure to incorporate the pink wine that inspired its existence into every room. Not only does the mansion provide beautiful backdrops for your perfect instagram post, but they are fully equipped in the wine department. You receive a sample of a different rosé in almost every room, 8 samples in total. It’s honestly an experience like no other. I mean where else can you sip on the trendy pink drink while you swing on chandeliers, visit Ancient Rome, blend your own wine, and conclude in the Grand Tasting Lounge, which boasts the largest rosé list in the country? Yup, only in good ol’ New York City at the Rosé Mansion.

On to my personal experience at the kickoff party. First off, Bumble and Her Campus really know how to throw a party! Those attending the Her Conference 2018 were invited to the exclusive event and were able to mingle/network ahead of the conference the following day. One of my favorite parts of the weekend (besides all of it) was this event hosted by Bumble at the Rosé Mansion. Yes, it provided ideal aesthetics for the ‘gram, but it also allowed guests to use their Bumble Bizz skills IRL to meet some amazing boss babes who are doing phenomenal work worldwide!

If you didn’t already know, Bumble originated as a dating app, but it has transpired into so much more than just that. Bumble has added modes such as: Bumble BFF to introduce new friends and Bumble Bizz for professional networking. Each mode promotes fostering real life, meaningful relationships that is centered around respect and kindness. Bumble Bizz is the place for boss ladies who are looking to build professional connections and land that dream internship, job, or mentor. By putting the power in women’s hands (quite literally), making the first move is now more empowering than ever.

The vibes the Rosé Mansion gives off, in conjunction with lady bosses from all over the country who are absolutely killing the game, was everything. The energy from the entire night was filled with so much positivity that it had me hardcore smiling the entire night. I love seeing women support and encourage other women. I think it’s also really important for people in general to celebrate one another’s successes. Unfortunately, I don’t think it happens as much as it should in today’s society.

While the Rosé Mansion would be a good idea on any day, I felt especially grateful to have been invited on this particular night to share it with my fellow Her Conference attendees. We took turns taking pictures of one another and “oooh-ed” and “ahhh-ed” while exploring the mansion. Upon arrival, we received the cutest plastic wine glasses and were given a brief overview of the venue. Each room represents a different location or time in history and around every corner a unique experience is waiting to be had.

After ascending the marble staircase we were welcomed with wine and a page of stickers we could use to plaster on the walls to represent the mixing of grapes for vino. In another room we were given push pins to indicate “where in the world we drink rosé.” I chose to affix my pushpin on the Philippine Islands since that’s where my family is from and I just came from vacationing there, also because the Philly/NJ/NYC areas were too heavily saturated with pins. There was plant walls and multi-colored scratch-and-sniff walls. When I say this was an instagramer’s dream place, I am not exaggerating. One of my favorite rooms was the purple grape room which also happened to match my dress for the evening. There is also a ‘Blending Lab’, complete with Erlenmeyer flasks and everything, where guests can mix their own custom rosé creations based on weight, acidity, and fruitiness. You can’t forget about the picturesque flowing rosé fountain 😍 or the rosé infused gummies that I am still trying to get a whole bag of. From the bathtub filled with rose petals, to the swinging chandelier and all of the inspirational instagram walls it’s hard to pick a favorite moment from the night. The most important takeaway were the people I met, yes Bumble threw an amazing party in an amazing venue, but moreover they gathered AMAZING women who chatted about respective or shared passions, and discussed potential employment or collaboration opportunities. It was the ultimate empowering experience for young women who are ready to build their networks and, most importantly, do it on their own terms.

I can’t wait to share with you all more of my trip to New York City and the Her Conference. Prior to the conference, I also received some super cute swag from Bumble for my trip which I’ll be sharing in a future post!

Special thank you to Bumble for the invitation and opportunities!
